Teachers Rock

Teacher's Rock has many names among the Local Rock Art enthusiasts.

Teacher's Rock is a large vertically positioned rock with many petroglyphs on the mid part and the lower parts of the rock.  Sitting directly in front of Teacher's Rock is another large rock with a horizontal surface.  it's possible that Native American Elders sat the young initiates on the horizontal surface and taught them the meaning of the rock art.   The right side of the rock in front is dug out by searchers for Montezuma's Gold (or other undiscovered treasure).
